UEF Primo is a search service, where you can find all the materials that the library has acquired:  books, journals, databases and other resources - both printed and online materials.

In UEF Primo, it is also possible to search for scientific articles in international databases and other resources.

You can't find Finnish scholarly articles in UEF Primo. Please search them in Finna or journal.fi.

• National Finna - find here materials in Finnish museums, libraries and archives; theses in Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences; Finnish journal articles
• UEF eRepo - online archive for the university's publications. UEF Master's theses have been published online starting from the year 2012. If the author has not allowed open publication, you can access the thesis on specific computers at the campus libraries. Please, go to UEF Primo to find older UEF Master's theses
• Research.fi - service offered by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture that collects and shares information on research conducted in Finland, for example publications and research data. 

• ERIC (ProQuest) - international database of education research and information, including ERIC Thesaurus, controlled vocabulary in the field of education
• Education database (ProQuest) - international database of education
• EBSCOhost Academic Search Premier - multidisciplinary database
• Scopus - large multidisciplinary collection, which offers also tools for analyzing and visualizing search results. Includes also Scopus AI tool.
• Child Development & Adolescent Studies (EBSCO) -  literature in development in early years, early childhood and adolescence

• PsycINFO (EBSCO) - literature in psychology, behavioral science and related disciplines, for example education and linguistics
• Social Science premium collection (ProQuest) - large search service in social science, including education and linguistics
• SPORTDiscus with Full Text (EBSCO) - sports and sports medicine research
• Web of Science (ISI) - multidisciplinary, including Social Science Citation Index and Arts and Humanities Citation Index. Limited choice of literature in education. Includes also AI tool Research assistant.

• Databases in Domestic sciences in UEF Primo. A few databases in nutrition are available only in Kuopio campus and KUH network.
