The Cost of Growth document deals with the themes of continuous economic growth, power, and the green transition. It challenges Europe’s story of relying on endless economic growth by showing just how dependent it is on exploitative systems. The documentary also highlights the high price local communities have to pay in the pursuit of constant economic growth.
This documentary & researcher discussion will be organised in Joensuu on Monday 9 November, as a collaboration of SusTra and SUVEF, Gender Studies Network at UEF. The discussion will be in Finnish.
