Nikolai Klimko, Lic Med: Doctoral defence in Neurosurgery, Kuopio

The doctoral dissertation of Nikolai Klimko, Lic Med, entitled Outcomes after anterior cervical decompression and fusion for degenerative cervical spine disease: Patient-reported outcome validity, predictors of 12-month recovery, and postoperative pain medication use in the nationwide finspine register, will be examined at the Faculty of Health Sciences. The Opponent in the public examination will be Professor Carsten Reidies Bjarkam of Aalborg University and Aalborg University Hospital, and the Custos will be Docent Jukka Huttunen of the University of Eastern Finland and Kuopio University Hospital. The public examination will be held in English.
