This course is primarily offered for people who have been granted temporary protection in Finland. If you have this status, this course is free for the academic year 2023-2024. There are 10 places reserved for open university students in this course.
Study methods: Classroom teaching on Joensuu and Kuopio campuses. The group meets simultaneously on both campuses in MLC-classrooms with a video connection. The course consists of lectures, spoken and written pair and group exercises, peer feedback and independent study.
The successful completion of the course and participating in a possible exam requires active participation and the completion of course assignments within the specified schedule.
Schedule: 5.9.-5.12. Teaching on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 14-16.

Other students can take part in the course if the student quota (10) is not met with students with temporary protection. For other students, the course fee is 15 euros per ECTS credit point. The prices are valid for the 2023-2024 academic year.
