FinELib continues its negotiations with scholarly publishers after the turn of the year. Elsevier, Emerald, IEEE, Oxford University Press, Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and Springer Nature have agreed to keeping journal access open for current subscribers, even though new agreements are yet to be finalized.

Negotiations also continue with the American Chemical Society (ACS), but there is no guarantee that a new agreement will be reached.
