The Reception is organised in collaboration with Team Finland Knowledge Southern Africa / Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland, Tampere University, University of Eastern Finland, University of Oulu and University of Turku, prior to the Southern Africa Nordic Centre Conference 2026 at the University of Namibia. Dress code: Smart casual.

In your RSVP, please include the name of the university you attended in Finland, year of graduation and programme, or student exchange period and department, as well as any dietary restrictions or allergies.
Please note that the Embassy of Finland in Windhoek reserves the right to share the names and contact details of registered guests with the co-organisers of the reception.
Through your RSVP, you also agree that photographs taken at the event will be utilized by the Embassy and co-organisers for alumni relations and Finland’s country branding purposes.
The venue has limited capacity; therefore, registration will close once the quota allocated to your university has been reached. A waiting list will be maintained, and those on the list will be contacted should places become available.
