How are world-class deeptech startups created? What enables research-based innovations to become successful international companies?
This interactive workshop brings together researchers, students, entrepreneurs, investors, innovation support organizations, and Forest Joensuu stakeholders to explore the key ingredients of successful deeptech ecosystems.
With a special focus on forest bioeconomy and circular economy innovations, participants will examine real-world startup journeys, discuss commercialization challenges, and identify opportunities to strengthen the regional innovation ecosystem.
The workshop is part of the Innokaupunki 3 (Innovative Cities) development initiative and is organized in collaboration with Business Joensuu, the University of Eastern Finland, and Forest Joensuu.
