In most cases, you are eligible to apply for bachelor’s level studies in Finland if you are eligible to apply for higher education in your home country.
An eligible applicant for bachelor’s degree programme has completed at least one of the following:
- Finnish matriculation examination
- International Baccalaureate (IB) degree
- European Baccalaureate (EB) degree
- Reifeprüfung (RP) degree or Deutsches Internationales Abitur (DIA) degree in Finland
- Finnish vocational upper secondary qualification or a further or specialist vocational qualification as a competence-based qualification, or a comparable previous qualification as set in the Vocational Education Act (531/2017)
- foreign qualification that provides eligibility for higher education studies in the awarding country
- Advanced International Certificate of Education degree (AICE) in Finland or
- has the right to study towards a university degree in Finland
- holds a degree conferred by a Finnish higher education institution
- has at least a Bachelor level degree conferred by a foreign institution
