Learning outcomes

Having completed the course, the student will:

- Be able to analyze the impacts of global crises (e.g., pandemics, natural disasters, conflicts) on healthcare systems and communities.
- Be able to evaluate crisis management practices and their effectiveness in international and national healthcare systems through the lens of nursing leadership, education, and research.
- Be able to develop evidence-based strategies and action plans to enhance the resilience and crisis preparedness of healthcare systems, with a focus on nursing education, leadership, and community engagement.

Generic skills that will be gained during the course: The following generic skills will be developed: international skills, critical thinking, interaction and communication, and development of expertise, SDG 3, 13&17

Evaluation criteria: PASS/FAIL; exercises are compulsory

The study fee is 20 euros per ECTS credit for individual study units, and 15 euros per credit for study modules. The study fee is paid at registration.
