Sign up for the YUFE Academy!

YUFE (Young Universities for the Future of Europe) launched this year’s edition of the YUFE Academy in July 2021, and it will last throughout the academic year of 2021/2022. The Academy is open to everyone interested, to all students and staff members of the partner universities. Including you!

The YUFE Academy is a sequence of lectures, workshops and activities related to the theme of this year’s YUFE Academy - Citizens wellbeing, YUFE’s second focus area. The previous theme – European Identity and Responsibilities in a Global World – is still up-to-date, so these subjects will also be explored.

YUFE Academy is a platform aimed at strengthening European identity, raising awareness about social issues, and providing solutions to global and local challenges.

All YUFE universities provide content for the YUFE Academy, both in English and in the local language. For example, Docent, University Lecturer Lauri Kuosmanen from the University of Eastern Finland will give a lecture in English on utilizing digital solutions in promoting mental wellbeing of citizens on 2 November.

It is possible to attend all events of the Academy, or only some of them. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic most lectures and workshops will take place virtually, which, actually, makes it even easier for the different audiences across Europe to join them!
