The University of Eastern Finland will hold its sixth doctoral conferment ceremony in Kuopio on 5–7 June 2025, conferring a total of 180 doctorates and 15 honorary doctorates.

Opin.fi is a joint service of Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences with a diverse selection of open higher education studies on a single site. The service also provides information on the open studies offered by the University of Eastern Finland.

The doctoral research led to the development new methods, designed to advance the discovery of disease subtypes and facilitate targeted drug development.

The PhD study examined the key success factors in the labour migration and recruitment of internationally educated nurses (IENs) from outside the European Union and European Economic Area (EU/EEA) to the Nordic countries.
