The new textbook came in handy for students taking Professor Carsten Carlberg’s lecture course “Molecular Medicine and Genetics” this autumn.

Selected to the Academy of Finland’s Flagship Programme for the years 2020–2024, the GeneCellNano Flagship seeks to speed up the introduction of new biological drugs for severe chronic diseases. The Flagship is led by Academy Professor Seppo Ylä-Herttuala.

The mission of the UNITE Flagship is to diversify forest-related livelihoods, promote forests as a source of health and well-being, and safeguard biodiversity.

Work at the University of Eastern Finland continues according to the current system, i.e. both remotely and on campus, also in the spring semester.
