Eastern Finland can congratulate itself on being attractive to international talent: International Master’s degree students at the University of Eastern Finland are willing to both find employment and live in the region after graduation.

A special duty to revive the Karelian language was assigned to the University of Eastern Finland in the beginning of 2021, and funding for the work has been granted for two years.

A two-year Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowship has brought Eng Kuan Moo from Canada to the Biophysics of Bone and Cartilage research group at UEF.
