Campus Orienteering and Campus Crash in September 2020

City Orienteering and Campus Crash will start the academic year of all the students at UEF in September 2020 for the nineth time!

This autumn the event will be organised with a completely new concept, taking safety and health aspects into account.

The event is organised by the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) and the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY).

The event is held in Joensuu and Kuopio on 2.–9.9.2020

City Orienteering and Campus Crash in 2020 will be combined into a one week-long event during which new and old students will get to know their fellow students, complete fun tasks with your team around the city, and participate in different raffles.

Tasks can be completed on the team's own schedule from 2th to 9th September. The tutor can participate in the tour too! Detailed information will be available in August. Team registration will open on Tuesday 1st of September.

Tasks are scanned from QR code posters

During the week students will go around their campus city in teams and complete different kinds of tasks given to them. Tasks are scanned from QR codes posters attached to trees or buildings. QR codes open video greetings and assignments from Student Organisations and other actors. The checkpoints around the city thus have no organiser physically present.
