UEF Startup Day for spring semester 2026 will take place on Thursday, 12 March, from 10:00 to 14:00. The venue is the main lobby of the Snellmania building at the UEF Kuopio campus.
As usual, UEF Startup Day presents an engaging overview of startups and entrepreneurship stories connected to the university, and of regional support activities and stakeholders related to the startups and entrepreneurship.
The program containts again a diverse range of case stories:

The event program also features local venture capital firm Nostetta Ventures, Business Joensuu, and the student-led entrepreneurship association North Savo Entrepreneurship Society. NSES is also co-organizing the event.
All students, researchers, and staff members interested in entrepreneurship – regardless of their field of study or educational background – as well as representatives of entrepreneurship-related stakeholder organizations, are welcome to attend.
The main language of the event is English.
Pizza and coffee will be served to those who register in advance by Tuesday, March 10.
