​We are delighted to invite you to join our upcoming Musculoskeletal Diseases Research Community Seminar Series.

We have a special guest speaker Professor Neil Cronin, from the University of Jyväskylä who will give an exciting talk about Artificial Intelligence Applications in Sport and Health.

Bio

Cronin is a Professor of Biology of Physical Activity at the University of Jyväskylä. His background is in Biomechanics and Neuroscience, but in recent years he has moved into the field of AI. His main research interests are in image processing (computer vision) and generative AI. In this talk, he will introduce some of the projects he has worked on over the past 5 years and highlight some of the challenges associated with AI methods.

The seminar is open to anyone interested. We hope you will join us for an engaging seminar!
