The second annual Forest Policy Day will continue to address current issues in Finnish and European Union forest policy through expert presentations and discussions based on them. We will continue the discussion that began last year on the EU Restoration Regulation: How could forest owners benefit from it, and what connections can restoration have with national defense? Other themes include international forest policy, EU Forest Products Regulation and forest bioeconomy and related conflicts.
The event is free and intended for everyone interested in forest matters. The language of the event is Finnish at 9–12, and English in the afternoon.
Please register for coffee by 10 November. The event can also be followed online via Zoom. See more information in the address uef.fi/forpolday/metsapolitiikan-ajankohtaispaiva-joensuussa-12-11-2025/.
