Dirk van Rens, MA: Doctoral defence in English Language and Culture, Joensuu

The doctoral defence of Dirk van Rens, MA, entitled Negotiations of the Traumas of Slavery and Its Legacies in Contemporary Afro-Atlantic Fiction will be examined at the Philosophical Faculty. The Opponent in the public examination will be Docent, University Lecturer Raita Merivirta (Åbo Akademi University) and the custos will be Professor Jopi Nyman (University of Eastern Finland).
