Welcome to A.I. Virtanen Institute for Molecular Sciences 25-year anniversary webinar!

The 25-year anniversary webinar opens a window into the fascinating past, present and future of research, education, and innovation at A.I. Virtanen Institute. The webinar includes presentations given by the several international forefront scientists on the main research areas of A.I. Virtanen Institute. 

The research of the A.I. Virtanen Institute is based on the Ageing, Lifestyles and Health profile area in the strategy of the University of Eastern Finland. The institute’s key research areas include cardiovascular diseases, brain diseases and cancer. The institute’s field of research is molecular medicine, which studies the causes and mechanisms of diseases on the molecular and cellular levels and applies the information to the prevention, diagnostics and treatment of diseases.

The webinar is open to all interested but registration is needed. Link to the webinar will be sent later to participants.
