- Technology and innovations
15 Minutes of FAME is FAME's - Flagship of Advanced Mathematics in Sensing, Imaging and Modelling, funded by Research Council of Finland, open webinar series presented every first Thursday of the month at 8:45-9:00, where our researchers are introducing their work literally in 15 minutes. Welcome!
6.11. Professor Aku Ursin, University of Eastern Finland, will give a talk on Monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions in facility scale using laser tomography.
This talk focuses on a novel greenhouse gas monitoring technique developed by Prof. Ursin’s group and collaborators: laser dispersion tomography. This technique uses sequential open-path laser dispersion spectroscopy measurements and wind data to infer spatially and temporally varying greenhouse gas concentrations and source maps at facility scale.
