The study module approaches contemporary global challenges and other major topics, such as the climate crisis, gender diversity, plural societies, existential wellbeing, politics, law, and musical cultures in the context of religion, spirituality, and theology, with a specific, yet not exclusive, focus on Christianity. The module provides research-based information and theoretical insights into topical questions. It acquaints the student with the religious life in Finland as an example of the coexistence of different religious traditions and cultures.

You can register for this whole study module, or for any of its individual study units. Individual study units cost 20€. These prices hold for the academic year 2026–2027.

The length of a study right is determined by the length of the study unit so that it covers all teaching and exams. If the study unit has continuous registration, the study right is from 6.8. to 30.7.
