A second-year student at Tulliportti upper secondary school in Joensuu has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Three other students have been exposed to the virus in their company in the school canteen and must stay in quarantine for ten days.
All upper secondary school students and their parents have been informed of the matter via Wilma. Siun sote will contact those who have been exposed.
All other second year students are advised to monitor their symptoms, but not required to quarantine, as their exposure is considered low-risk. School work will continue normally.
