The Finnish Learning Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Education Conference (FLAIEC 2026) will be held in Joensuu, Finland, on 29–30 October 2026. The conference focuses on Learning Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in education, bringing together researchers from different countries and disciplines to present current research and discuss how these approaches can support teaching and learning.

The keynote speakers of FLAIEC 2026 are:

  • Bart Rienties (Open University UK), whose work focuses on learning analytics and learning design, 
  • Eduardo Oliveira (University of Melbourne), who studies responsible human-AI collaboration in education, 
  • Päivi Häkkinen (Finnish Institute for Educational Research, University of Jyväskylä), whose research explores technology-enhanced learning, collaborative learning, and AI in education, and
  • Teemu Roos (University of Helsinki), a leading expert in AI education and the lead instructor of the Elements of AI online course.
