The 12th EuPAT Conference was held in Kuopio on 16–18 June 2025, bringing together researchers, professionals, and industry representatives to discuss current and emerging developments in pharmaceutical process and product development. The event was hosted by the University of Eastern Finland School of Pharmacy and co-organized with the NordicPOP consortium and FinVector.
Over two intensive days, the conference featured:
- 26 oral scientific presentations by leading experts
- 104 participants from 12 countries
- 30 poster presentations
- 6 exhibitors presenting technologies and solutions in pharmaceutical manufacturing
The scientific programme focused on smart drug delivery, AI-assisted design and analysis, and sustainable manufacturing technologies. Discussions throughout the sessions underscored the value of international collaboration and interdisciplinary research in advancing pharmaceutical science.
In addition to the scientific programme, participants had the opportunity to network during a cruise on Lake Kallavesi, offering an informal setting to exchange ideas and foster professional connections.
EuPAT12 served as a productive platform for academic, industrial, and regulatory stakeholders, supporting dialogue and cooperation toward innovation in pharmaceutical development.

The next EuPAT Conference, EuPAT13, will be held in Ghent in autumn 2026.
