Metabolic Diseases research community at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) will organize the summer school “Understanding molecular mechanisms of life-style induced health benefits” on June 30 and July 1, 2022, immediately after the International 23rd Puijo Symposium.

Food, diet and exercise are among key factors having an effect on human health and well-being. Understanding how these relate to health outcomes over time provides novel insight on the mechanisms critical in maintaining health or contributing to disease process and identifying potential new therapeutic targets to aid in the prevention and treatment of diseases.

The summer school provides maximal interactions between world-class lecturers, students and post-docs and thus provides mentoring and new collaboration, boosts knowledge transfer and at its best facilitates career planning of students.

Call for abstracts open until 31 May
