The application period for Bachelor's programmes taught in English for the September 2026 intake is now closed and the next application period for September 2027 intake will be open from 7 January until 21 January 2027 (first joint national application round). Most programmes admit students once a year, with studies starting in September. To apply, students must complete an online application through the national Studyinfo.fi portal during the application period.
Joint programmes have separate application procedures and timelines. YUFE's Urban Sustainability Studies programme's application period is open until March 31, 2026. Please check the programmes' websites for more information.

Tuition fees and waivers
Non-EU/EEA students are required to pay annual tuition fees. Tuition fee per academic year for the Bachelor's degree programmes taught in English is 10,000 euros. The fee will remain the same for the whole duration of the degree studies. In 2026 the university offers a partial tuition waiver of 30 % and 50 % for the selected students who are liable to pay tuition fees. Please check the programmes' websites for more information.
Admission results
Applicants will be selected based on their application documents, entrance examination and often the top candidates will be interviewed. When the selection decision has been made, the results will be posted to applicants by e-mail.
