Neurobiology of Disease

Research is focused on understanding the mechanisms and discovering novel therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease and stroke. Novel research avenues include deciphering mechanisms and pathways of intercellular and transcellular communication using both in vitro and in vivo methodologies and human and murine models.
