Open research planning

When planning open research, it good to consider what, when and where to publish. There are open publishing channels for both scientific publications and data. A thoroughly devised data management plan before starting the study and data management during the research process are prerequisites for opening the research data. Data management stands for having data and the descriptive information referring to them (metadata) created, saved and organised in order to ensure the data to remain operational and reliable and to secure its privacy for its entire life cycle.
