RPL or recognition and validation of prior learning at the Language Centre
The principles of RPL are only applied to compulsory language and communication studies included in degrees.
In its curriculum work, the Language Centre has described its courses in terms of the skills involved; the student's skills are recognised and validated in relation to the competence goals of the study module being completed. Course credits are mainly granted on the basis of recognising content studied and ‘compensating' for knowledge acquired otherwise. The Language Centre is responsible for ensuring that students' language and communication skills – acquired both formally and informally – are recognised and credited (compensated) within the degree in question.
Note! The RPL exam is not intended for exchange students.
