Required documents

All the required documents must be in English, unless stated otherwise.

• Completed application form
• Copy of the Bachelor diploma or equivalent (including the grade) and possible supplements in the original language certified by the educational institution issuing the document or a notarised copy.
• Official and certified English translation (a notarised copy) of the diploma (including the grade) and possible supplements.
• Official transcript of university records from the home university in English, or an officially certified translation of it.
• Certified copy (a notarised copy) of the identification page of your passport (not required from Finnish applicants).
• Certificate or proof of English language skills.
• Motivational letter describing your educational goals at the University of Eastern Finland In the motivational letter the applicant should describe the reasons for applying to the programme, any relevant previous experience and future career or educational plans, for example plans to continue on to Ph.D. research.
• At least two letters of recommendation from your previous instructors.
• Curriculum Vitae.
