Administrative Law

Administrative Law is a wide field of law; it includes a large amount of legal regulation related to public administration and the use of public power. As a branch of science, administrative law is concentrated on the responsibilities of civil servants, the legal relations between civil servants and their clients and the legal position and legal protection of the client of civil servants. At the University of Eastern Finland, in the focus of the studies and research of Administrative Law are the questions of substantive law related to a concept of a welfare state, for example the requests of good administration and legal aspects of education and social security.
