Rauno Aulaskari, PhD, Professor

Got his MSc in 1972 in University of Helsinki and PhD in 1979 in University of Joensuu, Finland. On an earlier work carrier five years as a junior research fellow in the Academy of Finland. His long term scientific visits to foreign universities include one year stay in Michigan State University (East Lansing, USA) and more than one year stay in University of Hawaii (Honolulu, USA).
His main research interests are complex valued function spaces and classes defined either in the unit disk or on Riemann surfaces. He is the leader of the project “Differential equations and function spaces in the complex plane” funded by the Academy of Finland. He has published more than 50 refereed scientific articles. He is the member of the Finnish and American Mathematical Societies.
His teaching experience includes courses both on elementary and advanced levels in mathematics.
Rauno Aulaskari is born in 1948. He is married and has two children.
