For the international degree programme EnvBio, total of 20 students were selected in 2011, from which 10 were selected to the Kuopio campus (Department of Environmental Science) and 10 were selected to the Joensuu campus (Department of Biology and School of Forest Sciences). In Kuopio the teaching is specially directed to climate change related bioprocesses and biogeochemistry and in Joensuu to environmental plant biology and forestry.
