Rosemary’s PhD research focuses on environmental constitutionalism under the title: Can constitutional environmental rights provide effective remedies for corporate environmental pollution in the extractive industry in Kenya? She is supervised by Harro van Asselt and Päivi Leino-Sandberg. Before joining UEF she worked as a lecturer at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) School of Law. She has also previously worked as a researcher at the Supreme Court of Kenya (Judicial Ombudsman’s Office) and at the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission.
