The main theoretical concepts of digital transformation, the role of digital transformation in the international business. Digital processes, models, and development.

Modes of study: Individual learning. Assignments.

Please note that successfully completing the “Digital Transformation in Business 1” (4 ECTS) is required before choosing an optional block “Digital Transformation in Business 2”

This is an intermediate studies level. The study unit is part of the International Retailing Study Module.

Student will
- know the main theoretical definitions and concepts used for describing and analyzing digital transformation
- understand the role of digital transformation for modern business survival and development.
- understand how to analyze digital transformation process from different managerial perspectives (e.g., IT, customers, business model transformation, organization)
- know the trends and realities of digitalization in relation to business development

I. Click ”Register for studies” to register. You will be directed to our registration service with the study unit already selected; click “In English” at the upper right-hand corner to change the language. If you want to, you can add several study units to your basket before you continue.

II. All study units taught in English are free for this academic year, so there is no need for a separate payment step; you will simply receive a confirmation email for your registration.

III. You will receive your starting instructions within ten days of your registration. Please read them carefully. If you do not have a UEF account, you will also get instructions for activating one.
