Finnish Mathematical Days 2018
Joint EMS-FMS-ESMTB Mathematical Weekend
The Department of Physics and Mathematics of the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) organizes Finnish Mathematical Days in January 4-5, 2018. These meetings are organized every second year by the Finnish Mathematical Society (FMS) as an exhibition of Finnish mathematics research and education. This year it is arranged as a joint mathematical weekend together with the European Mathematical Society (EMS) and the European Society for Mathematical and Theoretical Biology (ESMTB). The Scientific Programme Committee consists of Mats Gyllenberg (Helsinki), Camilla Hollanti (Espoo), Iiro Honkala (Turku), Risto Korhonen (Chair, Joensuu) and Eero Saksman (Helsinki).
