Laboratory facilities of BSAMIG are developed in the project funded by Regional council of Pohjois-Savo. In the project open research and innovation laboratory is developed. The name given to the laboratory is HUMEA (Human Measurement and Exercise Analysis). In the project four main parts of HUMEA laboratory are developed:

1. Driving simulator

2. Motion Laboratory

3. Human performance -laboratory

4. Robot-assisted rehabilitation based on KUKA iiwa robot arm

The developed facilities create state-of-the-art research and innovation environment. 

The project is funded by regional council of Pohjois-Savo.  Project is also financial supported by city of Kuopio (Kuopion alueen urheiluakatemia), Puijon Hiihtoseura Ry, ProProspect ltd and Sporto Ltd. 

Highlights of the pilot measurements and studies done related to sports, para-sports, dance and stroke rehabilitation have been posted to twitter and linkedIn using keyword #humea.
