1.3. Open seminar lecture by Prof. Rafael Leal-Arcas: Nexus of Climate Change, Brexit and Trade Law, Joensuu
UEF Law School is organizing its first Seminar on European and International Economic Law in January – March 2019 on the Joensuu campus, Aurora building, Yliopistokatu 2. The seminar is part of the curriculum, but is as well open to anyone interested. We invite all interested in the topics to participate the lectures.
The seminar consists of six lectures given by international legal practitioners and academics in the field of European and international economic law.
The lectures will cover some of the most important current aspects of both European and international economic law and provide participants with the skills to follow current discussions of the topics. The topics will include for example aspects of international investment law, trade law and energy law.
Each seminar lecture is scheduled for 5 hours, at 12:15–17:00, followed by a networking opportunity at the end of the lecture.
The language of the seminar is English.
In order for us to be able to organize the networking events as well as to inform you about any possible changes in the schedule, please register for the lectures in which you wish to participate.
Students may join single lectures or the complete course (in this case, please refer to Weboodi for the course requirements).
