The Department of Environmental Science offers possibilities for high-grade postgraduate studies. The Department occupies several tens of postgraduate students and about ten doctoral theses are finished annually.

UEF Graduate School and doctoral programmes

All postgraduate students of the university belong to the Graduate School of UEF. The Department of Environmental Science is participating in the following doctoral programmes coordinated by UEF:

Doctoral Programme in Environmental Health (SYTYKE)
Graduate School in Forest Sciences (GSForest)
Finnish Graduate School in Environmental Science and Technology (EnSTe)

The doctoral programmes offer versatile, free of charge courses for the registered students. Some doctoral programmes support students also by providing travel grants. See detailed courses and instructions in the previous links.
