The topic of the project has strategic importance for all the partners and they share the interest to develop the higher education through international cooperation.  The proposed project will fit perfectly to the strategies of the university partners. A concern of climate change and multifaceted environmental problems and current will to prevent this unfavorable progression has been written to the strategies of the non-academic partners as well.

Finland, Poland and Spain are representing different types of land use traditions and practices in the European context. The geographical situations in different parts of Europe (North, Center and South) and totally different kind of socio-cultural contexts can offer a prolific base for the planned cooperation to develop the education of future environmental specialists.  Both for students and staff members of the partner organizations the project will act as an important way for networking.
