The programme consists of introductory lecture and five thematic parts, 5 ECTS each. Finnish Culture Study Programme is open to all UEF students. For exchange students, it is the perfect way of gaining access not only to behind-the-scenes knowledge about the Finnish way of life but also to the quintessence of Finnish art and culture.

Altogether, the programme adds up to 33 credits out of which you can take at least 25 credits for the graded study block Basic Studies of Finnish Culture. Descriptions of study units, registration and timetables are available in the student information system WebOodi.

Studies are open for all students

This is a non-degree programme directed mainly to exchange or visiting students. There is no specific admission and selection process to this particular programme. Courses included in the programme can be also completed by master's degree students as a part of their studies.
