Quality Assurance

To support strategic management and to ensure that the operations of the university are being constantly improved, the University of Eastern Finland will adopt an ISO 9001:2000 compliant quality management system.

The university seeks to meet the audit criteria of the Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council (FINHEEC) by 31 December 2010.

The quality management system of the University of Kuopio has passed a FINHEEC audit in 2006.
