Postgraduate Education at the Faculty of Health Sciences

The Faculty of Health Sciences awards approximately 60 doctoral degrees every year. The faculty coordinates altogether five graduate schools, and is involved in the activities of several others.

applying for the degree certificate

  1. After you have completed all the studies which are required for the degree, please check that they have been entered on your transcript of academic records.
  2. Update your personal postgraduate study plan and have it approved by your main supervisor.
  3. Fill in the application form for a postgraduate degree certificate and submit it together with your updated personal postgraduate study plan to Amanuensis Arja Afflekt who will then compile your postgraduate degree certificate.
  4. The time of delivery for the postgraduate degree certificate is three weeks counting from the date when Amanuensis Arja Afflekt has received the application form and all the studies have been entered on your transcript of academic records. 

UEF Graduate School

The UEF Graduate Schoolf was established in 2011. It organizes courses and seminars which are aimed for all the postgraduate students of the UEF. Courses arranged by the UEF Graduate School help the postgraduate students to develope their trasferrable skills, such as skills in communication, information retrieval and research ethics etc. More.
