Research Services

Research Services offers members of the University of Eastern Finland staff expert services in the fields of R&D activities, external funding, contracts and intellectual property rights. Research Services is an active link between the university and its most important funders. We work in close cooperation with other Finnish universities and polytechnics, and our sphere of interaction also involves business partners.

Our services include:

• advice and support for the acquisition of funding and the drafting of contracts in particular
• trainings and information dissemination
• creation of research management tools
• legal issues relating to research projects
• lobbying and opinion-forming relating to public funding
• special issues of international projects
• development of the university’s processes relating to external funding
• coordination of the university’s strategic funding
