Bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement, but people with relevant graduate degrees, or those with medical or equivalent degrees are encouraged to apply.

Admission Requirements

THE NEXT APPLICATION ROUND IS OPEN 1.12.2011-31.1.2012

The University of Eastern Finland has joined UAF (University Admission Finland). This means that the applications are to be submitted through UAF.

Applicants register and create a user account in the system. This can be done all year round even if there is no ongoing application period. When the application period begins, applicants continue the process by filling out an application template which in the end will be compiled into a pdf document. It should be printed and signed and then sent, together with the required enclosures, to University Admissions Finland by mail.

Language tests
Applicants should check the language skill requirements from the document of Admission requirements. It is up to the applicants to take the test in time. It should be noted that it may take several weeks before the test results are available. All language test results must arrive at University Admissions Finland by the application deadline.
