Honorary Doctors

The University of Kuopio has invited 16 distinguished individuals to receive the award of Honorary Doctor in the Conferment Ceremonies June 10-12th, 2010. Honorary doctorate is the most prestigious acknowledgement that the academic community can bestow on an individual. Some of the Honorary Doctors have been chosen by the faculties and some by a larger university community of the University of Kuopio.
