Study modulesEach NEED partner country is developing geoscience education modules under common themes such as (1) elements of geology, (2) landscape, (3) natural hazards, (4) geological materials in society and their sustainable use, and (5) climate change. Here you can find the Irish study modules. Our understanding of the 4.5 billion years of Earth history stems from our understanding of the geological, environmental and natural history of the world and universe around us. As our understanding continues to develop - we can begin to understand the natural working processes and systems of Planet Earth. By understanding the natural processes and systems of the Earth, we can then consider how our actions can affect and impact on the Earth's natural evolution, and how we present a threat to some of these natural processes and systems. The geo-education modules presented here can help us to better understand the story of the Earth, the places and landscapes in which we live, and the natural resources on which we depend.
