The Finnish Association of Nursing Research
The association was established in 1987 in Kuopio. It is administered by a board consisting of 11 members and two student members.
The purpose of the association is to support and promote research in nursing science and its applications in clinical nursing.
The association organises national and international scientific conferences. It also administers grants for research and publishing. The association publishes a scientific journal Hoitotiede (Nursing Science) and promotes regional activity.
