Keynote speakers for the ATMC 2015

Christian Grönroos is Professor of Service and Relationship Marketing at Hanken School of Economics Finland and member of the board of the research and knowledge centre CERS Centre for Relationship Marketing and Service Management of this business university. He is also a former Visiting professor of marketing at Arizona State University and Guest Professor of  service management at Lund University, Sweden.  Professor Grönroos is a pioneer and leading scholar developing modern service marketing and service logic and one of the earliest proponents of the term service management. He is one of the fathers of the school of service marketing and management that internationally has been labelled The Nordic School of thought. Christian Grönroos has been selected as a "Legend in Marketing" - the first one outside North America -, and his research work will be compiled and featured in the forthcoming "Legends in Marketing" Series, edited by Dr. Jagdish Sheth (Series Editor) and published by the Sage Publications.

Bo Edvardsson (Bo.Edvardsson@kau.se) is Professor and Founder, CTF-Service Research Center and Vice Rector, Karlstad University, Sweden. In 2008, he received the RESER Award "Commendation for lifetime achievement to scholarship" by The European Association for Service Research and in 2004 The AMA Career Contributions to the Services Discipline Award. 2013 Bo was appointed Distinguished Faculty Fellow of the Center for Excellence in Service, University of Maryland and Honorary Distinguished Professor of Service Management, EGADE Business School, Monterrey Tech, Mexico. His research includes new service development and innovation, customer experience, complaint management, service ecosystems and transition from product to service in manufacturing.

Melanie Smith (PhD) is a Lecturer and Researcher at the BKF University of Applied Sciences in Budapest. She was also Chair of ATLAS (the Association for Tourism and Leisure Education) for seven years. She is co-author of the book Health, Tourism and Hospitality: Spas, Wellness and Medical Travel (2013) with Dr László Puczkó. She has worked for over ten years on health tourism, including research, lecturing and the publication of several journal articles and book chapters. She has been an invited Keynote Speaker at many international Conferences for health tourism and cultural tourism, and has undertaken tourism consultancy work in a range of countries, including for ETC and UNWTO. She has most recently been working on Baltic Health Tourism and Balkan Wellbeing projects.
