| | The Finnish Friend ProgrammeIn order to help international students to adapt to Finland, International Mobility Services offers students a possibility to familiarise themselves with everyday Finnish life and culture through the Finnish Friend Programme. There are a number of Finnish individuals and families who would like to meet international students in an informal way, to make friends with a newcomer, to invite a student for a visit every now and then, to share their leisure time activities - in general, to introduce Finnish culture to international students. Also, in return, they would like to learn about the home country, language and culture of the student. International Mobility Services will arrange the first meeting for the participants in the programme, and after that they can meet according to their own schedules and interests.
